The 4 days Uganda gorilla trekking safari takes you to Uganda for gorilla trekking; expect to visit the home of the Uganda mountain gorillas. The safari brings you to famous national park of mountain gorillas in the south-Western Uganda: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 1: Entebbe – Kampala (depending on flight and request)

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred for an overnight in Kampala.

Distance: 40 km (1 hour drive)

Medium range accommodation: cassia lodge /Africana (BB)

High range accommodation: Serena Kampala/ Commonwealth Resort (BB)

Day 2: – Kampala– Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your breakfast, depart to Bwindi Impenetrable. National Park, on our way we pass the equator, famous for photos and experiment. Today transfer will depend on the location of the gorilla permits and road conditions. Accommodation will depend on the group of gorillas you will be tracking on Full Board.

Distance: 550 km (Buhoma- Ruhija- NKuringo sector) about 10 hours’ drive.

Medium range accommodation: Buhoma Bandas/ Gorilla Mist/ Nkuringo camp (FB)

High range accommodation: / Mahogany spring / Buhoma lodge/ Chameleon Hill (FB)

Top end accommodation: Gorilla Forest Camp/ Cloud lodge (on request)

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today, the activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of about 370 gorillas, which is half the world population according to 2007 gorilla population surveys. It is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas. Accommodation will depend on the group of gorillas you will be tracking on Full Board

Day 4: Bwindi National Park – Entebbe

Today, depart early morning back to Entebbe, depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for your flight departure (due to long distance, we advise for late departure flight).

Distance: 590 km (about 10 hours)

Note: Accommodations shall be based on client selection (high range, Medium or low budget. All lodges have self-contained rooms and are selected as per the interest of the client.
